Munich Re is the leading reinsurer in the Australasian Non-Life market and offers both treaty and facultative reinsurance support for Casualty and Financial Lines. The Facultative underwriting team specialises in the underwriting of complex and challenging risks for our local reinsurance clients. We provide additional technical support complimenting our client management and treaty initiatives.

You will report to the Facultative Manager.

**Your Role**
- Develop new business opportunities for Munich Re by expanding the client and product base to add value to the Group
- Assess and review Property Risk reports as to their adequacy for underwriting purposes
- Develop new client relationships and strengthen existing ones to achieve expected growth and profit contribution
- Instigate and support new product development within Munich Re and clients
- Help develop client and portfolio budgets and forecasts
- Develop market profile and visibility
- Proactive partnership with internal service providers to maximise client service

**Your Profile**
- Tertiary qualifications in related area
- ANZIIF membership
- 5 years of Property underwriting and or claims experience
- 3 years of Property underwriting experience in Reinsurance
- Eagerness to explore and support new business opportunities beyond traditional Reinsurance
