Seppeltsfield Wines is part of the Randall Wine Group that comprises of Ryecroft Wines, Tinlins Wines, Quelltaler Estate, Boars Rock and Penny’s Hill. The Randall Wine Group has significant vineyard holdings across most growing regions in South Australia.

Seppeltsfield Wines are seeking an individual who will join a small team with a high quality and attention to detail focus in everything we do. As part of the winemaking team you will have significant input into the outcomes of the winery working closely with all production team members.

Reporting to the Chief Winemaker, your main duties will include:

- Assisting Winemakers and the Cellar Manager to deliver high quality outcomes for the company;
- Supervision and training of vintage casuals;
- A proactive approach to Quality, Safety and Environment; following all QSE policies and procedures
- Working closely with Winemakers through all key winemaking tastings and vintage decision making;
- Assisting with keeping accurate records in EzyWine for all winery operations;
- Assisting with the planning of the cellar team work program
- Hands on cellar work, minor lab work & site maintenance with the team as required; and
- Significant role in winemaking trials and maintaining knowledge of wine styles from Australia and overseas

Job Requirements
- A degree in Oenology or similar;
- Previous experience in managing an operational team in a similar environment;
- A practical, hands on experience base and philosophy which aligns with the current team;
- Exceptional communication skills and basic writing and numeracy skills;
- High level of attention to details in all areas;
- Ability to prioritise and make well informed decisions in a fast paced environment;
- Current drivers and forklift license; and
- Eligibility to work in Australia - you must be a citizen or permanent resident.
