**About your new role**
We are seeking a Manager, Financial Crime Transaction Monitoring & Screening to join our team on a permanent basis. You will report to the Head of Financial Crime Strategy, Transformation, Transaction & Technology Controls and will ensure that our Transaction Monitoring, Customer Screening and Financial Crime technology is optimised to support Financial Crime Objectives.
**Key responsibilities in the role are but not limited to**:
- Ensuring that Financial Crime technology settings, rules and controls are optimised to manage Financial Crime risks.
- Ensuring that Financial Crime technology meets business requirements.
- Identifying opportunities to continuously improve screening and detection rules to mitigate financial crime risks.
- Providing governance over Transaction Monitoring and Screening Controls including the design, development, testing and maintenance of detection rules and fuzzy logic, list management, whitelisting, suppression, etc.
- Providing oversight of the development and maintenance of Critical Data Elements and oversee data lineage to support effective financial crime processes and systems.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:
- Extensive experience working on transaction monitoring in a highly regulated organisation.
- Substantial experience in working in a financial crime or related technology role within a casino, bank or AUSTRAC, or relevant consulting experience is highly regarded.
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining successful working relationships with technology teams and in influencing, leading, and managing others.
- A proven track record of timely project delivery and of optimizing continuous improvements.
