SkyCity are seeking Security professionals to join our team on a casual time basis.

**So, what does the role look like?**

Our Security Team are passionate about maintaining a safe and secure environment. We are seeking people with exceptional personal presentation and a high level of integrity to join their professional and high performing team. Our Security Team are a vital part of our business not only providing front-line Security services to protect the safety and security of our customers, staff and property but to be the outstanding customer service facing professionals representing SkyCity. They're a dedicated and hardworking team who are often the first point of call for any issues that arise. Your duties will include compliance and regulatory enforcement, incident management, emergency and first aid response. You will need to have availability and flexibility to work rotating shifts over a 24/7 roster including days, nights, weekends and public holidays.

**What you will look like?**

You will have proven experience in a security role, such as a security officer or guard. You will be committed, attentive, and carry a confident presence that naturally earns authority and respect. Demonstrated customer service skills are crucial. In addition to the above, you will also have:

- A current First Aid Certificate with experience responding to first aid incidents.
- A nationally accredited Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities (with examples).
- The ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure
- The capacity to work effectively both in a team environment and independently
- Availability and flexibility to work various shifts across a 24/7 roster

Your dedication to maintaining a secure and safe environment, coupled with your ability to manage challenging situations with professionalism and composure, will be crucial to your success in this role.
