Finance Controller / Senior Financial Accountant
- Brisbane based & fully onsite Monday to Friday
- $100-$120k salary package dependent on experience

We are excited to announce a newly created role for a Financial Controller based onsite with our client in Brisbance CBD.

This role is permanent and primarily seeking a highly motivated person for our business environment.

You will be responsible for a broad range of activities that support the financial compliance, governance and effectiveness of a number of national and international entities with the Group. You will place a key role in enhancing financial controls, strategic planning and identifying growth opportunities whilst managing financial and business risk.

**This role requires someone who**
- Is University Qualified and has a CA/CPA or equivalent qualification
- Is experienced in working with Crypto and Global Currencies
- Has worked with high volume transaction businesses
- Has fintech or financial markets business experience
- Possesses strong technical accounting skills, analytical skills and an ability to interpret and insightfully represent large volumes of data.
- Knowledge and understanding of global accounting laws
- Someone wanting to move into commercial accounting is ideal
- Reconcile
- Audits monthly
- Knows blockchain and crypto - making payments in crypto and local currencies
- Essentially building out the corporate financial system
- High volume transaction business
- Financial reporting
- Xero
- Build from ground up, will build a team eventually
- Able to run multiple payrolls
- Prepare accounting records
- Cash flow, budgets etc
- Management reports
- Prepare annual budgets
- SQL database

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare all accounting records, and reconciliation mechanisms and set up payments for processing;
- Responsible for payments to all group partners and vendors, ensuring payments are made within a timely and accurate manner;
- Management and responsibility for a global payroll across multiple countries;
- Overall management of accounts payable and receivable functions;
- Ensuring all accounting activities and internal audits comply with financial regulations;
- Providing management & assistance to external auditors;
- Assist with the preparation of monthly management reports including analysis of overall business performance and financial position;
- Assist with the preparation of annual budgets;
- Assist with managing, supervising and training staff;
