**About the role**
This is a Permanent, Full-Time role (37.5 hours/week).
**About you**
The Manager, Counselling Services is responsible for the development and leadership of the Counselling Services across Queensland including lived experience services (peer support), emotional and psychological support via telehealth, face to face, individual and groups. You will play a pivotal role as a member of the Client Operations Leadership Team.
**Experience, Knowledge and Skills**

**Essential**:
- Qualifications in Health or Health Management
- Demonstrated experience in delivery, roll-out and evaluation of evidence-based psychological interventions
- Proven ability to effectively manage administrative staff and work with teams of health professionals to maximise productivity
- Experience in the management of multi-disciplinary staff and in engaging stakeholders at all levels of an organisation
- Demonstrated experience in budget management
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, including professional written communication
- Ability to manage, inspire and motivate individuals and teams to achieve targets
- Experience in networking and building partnerships with a diverse group of stakeholders
- Proven ability to organise, manage and prioritise multiple tasks
- Proven ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated and to use initiative
**Desirable**:
- Postgraduate tertiary qualifications in mental health or counselling
**Your Leadership Contribution**
