**About the role**
In this role, you will be a pivotal force in shaping and enhancing our IT service management practices. Your role will involve overseeing the effective delivery of IT services, ensuring that they meet our organisational standards and support our business goals. You will lead the charge in embedding ITIL frameworks and methodologies into our operations, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a high-performance culture within the IT teams.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Lead and support the ongoing establishment of ITIL Service management capabilities.
- Collaborate and inspire the IT teams, providing guidance, mentoring, and support to ensure high performance IT Service management systems and processes.
- Work with the Manager IT Operations to develop and deliver the departments business plan by allocating resources effectively to support the delivery of IT services, including staffing, budget, and infrastructure requirements
- Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics related to IT service delivery performance, identify trends and areas for improvement, and take corrective actions as needed.
- Lead and support the implementation and maintenance of IT service management frameworks and processes, including incident management, problem management, change management, and service level management
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality, efficiency, and reliability of IT services, collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to implement best practices and innovative solutions

**About you**
To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience in IT service delivery management or a related role, with a strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and best practices.

**Essential Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, or related field.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and contracts, including negotiation and performance management.
- Demonstrated people management skills to support, influence, and foster a positive work environment.
- Excellent problem solving and stakeholder management skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders to achieve task outcomes.
- Developed writing and speaking skills to align with stakeholders and achieve support for task outcomes.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Current Working with Children Check (employee).
