Privately owned Australian freight forwarder with international offices and supply chain movement capabilities to specialised parts of the world. Moving highly valuable cargo with intrinsic movement requirements that the company will train prospective staff in.

**About the role**

***
Looking after all domestic cargo movements in general and specialised cargo across Brisbane by dealing directly with the fleet of drivers on hand, as well as booking in with sub contractors and companies. Direct contact with the clients updating them on all movements and any changes or issues with delivery.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Air and sea cargo cartage movements in Brisbane
- Contact with drivers on their runs and requirements
- Checking clearances as well as documentation in order with brokers
- Liaising with clients on a daily basis with updates
- Adapting to changes in the process and constantly problem solving

**Skills & Experience**
- Freight Forwarding experience
- Transport background
- Fleet allocation or scheduling understanding
- Confidence in dealing with drivers on a daily basis
- Documentation and clearance understanding
- Cargowise and One-Stop systems experience, advantagous
