**Key Responsibilities**
- **Opportunity and Bid Management**:Tender phase review of contracts, development and implementation of effective contractual strategies for opportunities, bids and contract negotiations.
- **Contract Drafting**:Create bespoke contract terms and documents.
- **Project Delivery**:Provide specialist support in commercial and risk management, issue resolution and dispute management
- **Project Planning**:Oversee project handover, establish commercial plans and create project registers.
- **Training and Development**:Support the development of training packages and upskill project and commercial resources.
- **Governance Approval**:Prepare presentations and present to Tender Governance Board for approval of tenders.

**What you’ll bring**
- Tertiary qualifications in Law and prior practicing experience as a Construction Contracts Lawyer advantageous.
- Sound working knowledge of risk mitigation principles and the contractual implementation thereof.
- Excellent working knowledge of Australian construction contracts.
- Collaborative communication style with the ability to work effectively as a member of the team.
- Negotiation and influencing skills to achieve desired outcomes.
- Builds and maintains effective relationships with both internal and external clients and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and able to cope with ad-hoc requirements.
