Fyshwick business is after a Senior Logistics Officer to join their Engineering team, $80,000 - $100,000pa

This Australian Business has been established for over 30 years and are looking to expand their Senior Engineering Team by hiring a new Logistics Officer. Based in Fyshwick they design and manufacture specialist items for a sector of the Australian Government. This organisation operates across Australia in a few of its major cities and has a strong focus on career development across a range of different skill sets.

**Your new role**

This exciting new role will see you working within the warehouse communicating with the Engineering Logistics, Project Management and Warehousing teams internally, along with external suppliers and vendors. Your primary role will be managing and cross referencing orders from suppliers to ensure all the internal data is accurate. Your other key tasks include;
- Establishing new processes within the business to improve efficiency
- Ensuring equipment is safely stored and in a serviceable condition
- Ensuring all equipment is returned by due date and any defects or deficiencies are reported
- Receipting and issuing all items
- Raising movement requisition orders for freight
- Physically move freight throughout the warehouse when necessary

Do you have excellent attention to detail, demonstrate the ability to problem solve and work well within a team? This may be the right role for you. Along with the skills already noted you will also need:

- You must be an Australian citizen and will possess or be willing to go through the process to obtain and maintain a NV1 personnel security clearance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Current unrestricted driver licence
- Experience with supply support or related logistics role
