St Bede's Home located in Hurstville is our 44-bed residential aged care community. We pride ourselves on offering a home like environment that operates under Catholic Healthcare’s values of Compassion, Excellence, Honesty, Hospitality & Respect.

We are currently seeking experienced and passionate Personal Care Assistants to join our team on a permanent part time basis who can be available to work night shifts throughout the week.

As part of a dedicated team who work hard to create a safe, home like environment you will be responsible for:

- Assisting with personal care such as showering and dressing.
- Supporting with day-to-day tasks such as eating and social activities.
- Working with clinical staff to ensure care plans are followed.
- Maintaining documentation and working as part of a team to ensure our residents’ health and well-being are optimised; and
- Providing high quality service to families and the community.

To be successful in this role you will need:

- A Certificate 3 in Aged Care (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in a PCA role in Aged Care.
- Availability to work night shifts and flexibility to pick up additional shifts as needed.
- A genuine passion for providing high quality care to Senior Australians.
- Strong communication skills and a team player.
- Good computer skills with the ability to maintain documentation; and,
- Must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19
