Group Music Teacher

**Group Music Teacher - Springwood & Birkdale (Casual / Part-Time)**

**Expected Hours**: 6-8 per week

**About the Role**:
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and reliable **Group Music Teacher** to run after-school classes in:

- **Springwood**: Wednesday, Thursday afternoons

This is a **maternity leave position** with strong potential for ongoing work.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan and teach small group music classes for children
- Use creative and engaging approaches to music education
- Source or adapt music and teaching materials
- Maintain lesson plans and student notes
- Work closely with the Mad Hatter team for support and resources

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Outgoing and confident working with children
- Strong musical skills - able to sight read, improvise, and compose at a reasonable level
- Passion for creative, child-led learning
- Reliable and well-organised, with excellent time management
- Able to commit to at least **6 months**:

- Access to **own transport**:

- Previous experience teaching or working with kids (ideal but not essential)
- Available for regular afternoon shifts during the school term
