**In this Head of Delivery Excellence role you will**:

- Be Accountable for delivering improvements to simplify the end-to-end software development lifecycle and accelerate delivery velocity at nab.
- Deliver tooling enhancements that improve collaboration, transparency and enable faster outcomes for customers.
- Lead uplift of engineering excellence and technical end to end delivery.
- Engage with key stakeholders across the organisation, maintaining strong relationships to support delivery objectives and solve challenges.
- Promote and embed agile best practice enabling teams to work efficiently and maintain high quality of standards and governance.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement levering feedback and data to optimise delivery.
- Drive and motivate the team to ensure the goals are met.

**What you will bring**:

- Deep technical systems design experience demonstrated in a large complex environment.
- In-depth experience across product ownership, delivery, and leading cross functional squads.
- Software engineering knowledge and experience and managing teams.
- Strategic thinker with strong financial and commercial acumen.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, influencing and relationship building capabilities.
- Experience being a change agent/catalyst - driving change across an organisation.
- Strong experience in agile (including tools like Jira and/or Rally).
- Experience in DevOps (e.g. GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, Harness).
- AWS and/or Azure certifications (including experience with infrastructure as code).
- Technology and Innovation: Optimisation of testing strategies and automated testing.
- Experience driving cultural change.
