**We are currently seeking an intelligent, technically minded, self-motivated and keen individual to gain an apprenticeship as a Mechanical Fitter for our Windsor Gardens site.**

**Why a San Remo Apprenticeship program?**
As an Apprentice at San Remo, you will be trained in a wide range of maintenance skills and tasks to maintain automated packaging and processing machines, including our robots, motors and gearboxes. The role of a Mechanical Fitter is extremely diverse, no day is the same as the last. Working within our maintenance department you will support our operational areas by being involved in:

- Preventative maintenance;
- Commissioning of new equipment;
- Fabrication and installation projects;
- Repairs and troubleshooting.

**Requirements**:
To be successful in the role, you will have:

- A real interest in problem solving and getting your hands dirty
- Ideally have undertaken a pre-vocational course; 2nd or 3rd year apprentice would be beneficial
- Shown commitment to your school studies;
- Have a genuine desire to build a long-term career
- Reliable, trustworthy and punctual
- Motivated and willing to learn
- Mechanically minded
- Able to work rotating roster
