**About the role**:
We are currently looking for two enthusiastic and diligent General Hands to join our team on a permanent part-time basis work in our Animal Care Facility. You will be comfortable around all animals and will use your cleaning knowledge and attention to detail to ensure the facility is clean and maintained to a high standard. The role will involve cleaning animal runs, exercise yards and walking tracks as well as washing and disinfecting animal dishes and laundry.
- A strong understanding of Work and Health and Safety Principals
- A sound knowledge of safe and hygienic cleaning practices.
- Ability to work with little direct supervision.
- Time management skills and ability to organise work effectively.
- Ability to work as a cooperative team member.
- Able to use chemicals and detergents in a safe way.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Thorough understanding of using different tools and chemicals
- Flexible and available to work a variety of 6 hour shifts Monday to Sunday (between 8am-4:30pm), including every second weekend. Start and finish times are negotiable.
