**The Opportunity**:

- ** Full-Time 1.0 EFT | Fixed-Term contract of employment until 31st December 2025**:

- ** TL $85,644 - $121,462 per annum pro rata + 12% super + leave loading (dependent on qualifications and experience)**:

**The Design and Finishing Trades Department at Holmesglen delivers a diverse range of programs spanning fashion and interior design, furniture manufacturing and upholstery, trowel trades, painting, and printing. Our offerings support students across various stages of their educational journey, with qualifications ranging from Certificate II through to advanced diplomas and degree-level programs.

This role offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality education and training within a dynamic and supportive environment. You will play a key role in the full learning and teaching cycle - from guiding students through course selection to designing and delivering engaging, inclusive, and industry-relevant learning experiences.

**As a Teacher - Furniture, Joinery and Manufacturing you will**:

- Design and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons across various locations and delivery modes.
- Create high-quality teaching resources and assessments aligned with industry and course standards.
- Support the full student journey, from course enquiries to assessing and identifying training needs for Certificate II in Cabinet Making and Timber Technology.
- Build and maintain strong industry partnerships to inform and enrich course delivery.
- Engage in professional development and compliance, contributing to continuous improvement.

**To be successful, you’ll have**:

- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - TAE 40122 or equivalent predecessor or successor qualifications; and
- An approved degree, diploma, or certificate in a relevant vocational area, or approved equivalent qualifications, at least to the level being delivered and assessed, along with current licenses to practice or registration where applicable.
- Demonstrated expertise in contemporary teaching, assessment, and developing inclusive learning materials.
- Commitment to fostering a safe, supportive, and culturally aware environment for diverse learners.
- Strong organisational, communication, and digital literacy skills to enhance teaching and collaboration.
- Outcome-focused with the ability to meet deadlines, adapt to change, and deliver quality education.
- Accountable, flexible, and collaborative team player who actively supports shared goals and continuous improvement.
- ** WWCC and Police Check**:Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check, and a valid Police Check within the last 12 months.
