**About the Role**

If this is you illion ANZ is seeking an experienced FP&A Analyst (Financial Planning and Analysis).

The role would suit someone with some prior experience of FP&A (2-year minimum) who is ready to take on a bigger role.

FP&A at illion operates through an integrated business partner approach, working with the business to provide commercial insight into historical and future results that will enable the management team to make better business decisions. This is done through closely collaborating with business partners to understand the core drivers of business performance and develop relevant metrics and timely reports that measure, monitor and report on performance.

A key aspect to being a valued business partner is creating simple messages from complex financial information and providing it in a timely manner to the business.

This key role within finance will also work with financial and non-financial systems (e.g. TM1, Great Plains, Salesforce and proprietary systems) to create integrated KPI and finance reporting for management and the board. You will need to be willing to get your hands dirty in systems interrogation and report building to be successful.

**Functional Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Support the Head of FP&A and GM Finance by working with key stakeholders to understand key business drivers of sales, revenue and opex and use this knowledge to identify future opportunities and issues so that appropriate action can be taken in advance
- Support key projects across the business
- Identify trends and model future impacts and outcomes
- Ad-hoc financial analysis where required
- KPI reporting and interpretation as leading and lagging indicators of financial performance
- Sales and Revenue reporting by Customer & Product
- Assist the business to understand and interpret the financial information in the system and reports to enable management to plan, evaluate, control and enhance performance of their areas of responsibility in the business.
- Support the business in the use of the system through developing relevant, system driven dashboard and management accounting reports that can be readily accessed and understood by the business managers.
- Monthly cash flow and bank reporting including preparation of bank covenants

**Key Skills**:
Essential:

- Budgeting & Forecasting Experience
- Ability to deal with multiple tasks and priorities
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
- Modelling and interpretive skills
- Interest in systems maintenance and development

Highly Desirable:

- Cognos TM1 experience highly regarded
- Great Plains Experience
- Systems interest
- Sales and technology business partnering

**Experience**:

- 5+ years business partnering/finance experience with exposure to planning and forecasting
- CPA, CA or equivalent
- Cognos TM1 experience or similar highly regarded
- Able to explain complex finance concepts and data in simple, commercial terms
- Advanced excel skills including financial modelling
- Ability to analyse large data sets and translate the data into meaningful messages, action items and communications (verbal, written and numerical)
