Maxima are looking for outdoor enthusiasts to undertake a 3-year traineeship within Horticulture.

We have a number of experienced Host Employers across Adelaide looking to expand their teams and you could be just the one These roles are extremely diverse and will bring something new every day as you work across all areas including landscaping, arboriculture, grounds maintenance and more.

Not only will you receive hands-on industry experience, paid training, several licences, and all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), but you will also achieve a nationally recognised **Certificate III in Horticulture.**

**Duties Include**:

- Garden and grounds maintenance
- Mulch, prune, pot, and water plants
- Tree removal
- Use of woodchippers and other garden machinery and tools
- Brush cutting and mowing
- Pest and weed control
- Installation of irrigation pipes and watering systems

S**kills and Knowledge**:

- Enjoy working outdoors and with garden tools
- Be committed, reliable and hardworking
- Manage and prioritise time when working under pressure
- Work effectively in a team and unsupervised
- Good communication skills
- Have a can-do attitude, displaying initiative on the job

**Role Requirements**:

- Provisional or full driver’s licence with own vehicle
- Physically fit and healthy due to manual labour work
- Satisfactorily pass a pre-employment assessment including a drug and alcohol test
- Previous experience in gardening, horticulture, or similar trade (advantageous)
