About You:

- Valid Working with Vulnerable People card, with NDIS screening check
- Australian Driver's license.
- Car with comprehensive insurance.
- Relevant qualifications or the willingness to obtain them.
- First aid and CPR certificate.
- Covid Vaccination Certificate
- Police check (not older than 6 months).
- Flexibility and adaptability in approach.
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
- Supporting people to stay infection training
- Understanding of NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) and NDIS Quality & Safeguards.
- Eligibility to work in Australia.
- Experience working with complex individuals who may display behaviours of concern.
- Preferred ability to assist clients with medication.
- Support worker’s hobbies
- Sports/ gymnastics/ walk/ dance/ cooking (preferred)

About the Role:
As a Disability Support Worker, you will:

- Provide personalized care and assistance to individuals with disabilities
- Assist with daily living activities including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Cultivate a supportive and inclusive environment for individuals with disabilities
- Engage clients in meaningful activities and social interactions to enhance their well-being
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and support staff to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate documentation of support provided and any changes in clients' conditions or needs

Job Location: Pyrmont, NSW.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $33.96 - $91.87 per hour

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
