**About the Role**

Support Care Workers at Serenity Home Care are responsible for the provision of person/ family-centered support services that empower people with disability reach their fullest potential.

We offer our team an outlet to thrive in their roles through training, supervision, and on-going assistance to ensure they have the tools and skillset needed to support our varying clients.

We undertake an extensive screening and matching process when allocating clients, factors we consider include your experience, the complexities of the client, location and the overall caring arrangement however all our staff have a say and we often include our team in this process. There are shifts available ongoing, starting at a minimum of 4 hours per shift and can accommodate for morning, Afternoon, Evening.

**Compliance requirements**
- Australian citizen or has Right to Work in Australia (must)
- Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Personal Care or above (must)
- Cert IV in Mental Health (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (must)
- Working With Childrens Check
- First Aid Certificate HLTAID011 or HLTAID012 (must)
- CPR Certificate HLTAID009 (must)
- P2 or Full Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle (Must)
- Comprehensive car insurance (preferred)
- 100 points ID
- Covid-19 vaccinations

**Experience**:

- Experience assisting complex clients with behavioural issues (preferred)
- 1 year industry experience (preferred)
- Other certifications:
**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $24.06 - $42.55 per hour

Schedule:

- Fixed shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (required)
- Working with Children Check (required)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (required)
