**About Us**

The Co-Group is a growing charitable, not-for-profit (NFP) organisation that offers opportunities for support workers to provide care for clients that include in-home support, group homes, and day centres in the disability and aged care industry. The Co-Group employs a multicultural and diverse workforce including visa holders.

Our client is an ethical and fast-growing provider of support services in Perth. We are seeking Support Workers to assist in providing high-quality care to a range of NDIS and Aged Care participants. We are currently seeking multiple support workers in various locations around Perth.

Our staff are experienced in supporting clients in-home while utilising their skills to provide high-quality, compassionate care. There is scope for our support staff to work specifically with NDIS participants, Aged Care clients or a mix of both.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assistance with Personal care is required.
- Getting out for social engagement, activities and attending appointments (own vehicle essential)
- Assistance with household tasks (may include cleaning, meal preparation) if required.
- Assistance with medications if required.

**Your Skills and Experience**

To be successful in the role, you will require the following:

- A genuine passion to work alongside participants/the elderly and to make a positive and lasting difference in their lives
- Professional or lived experience of the NDIS and/or Aged Care sectors
- Experience of complex behaviours and behaviour support methods (a bonus - not a requirement)
- Excellent communication skills, commitment to a person-centred focus and flexibility to support needs based on individual circumstances
- A sense of humour (another bonus - not a requirement)
- Resilience and compassion
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Qualification in Disability, Aged Care or related field preferred
- HLTHPS006 - Assist clients with medication
- Current First Aid certificate
- Current CPR certificate
- Current Working with Children check
- Current Drivers Licence & access to a reliable vehicle
- The right to work in Australia
- Support worker needs to honest and reliable, and transparency is a must.
- Support workers need to act professionally and all communication regarding the client and shift schedules must go through the managed and staff are not allowed to obtain the clients number.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $33.00 - $36.00 per hour
