**About the opportunity**:
The Project Support Officer reports to the Project Manager, Payroll Reform and will be required to work closely with the Project Team and a wide range of internal and external stakeholder
**About you**
As a key member of the Payroll Reform Team, the Project Support Officer’s primary role is to undertaking project administration activities along with assisting with general system testing and analysis to ensure all solutions meet business requirements for functionality, usability and conform to business rules and policies.
To be successful you will be:
- Sound knowledge of office management and administrative procedures, practices and record management systems;
- Proven ability to liaise, communicate and negotiate effectively with a range of stakeholders to facilitate their cooperation and support in the achievement of objectives, and to establish and maintain strong and productive working relationships;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Experience in performing project support and administration activities;
- Experience in the collection, presentation and analysis of information;
- Proven ability to prioritise and organise work to meet deadlines, including managing competing demands and tasks in a demanding work environment;
- Ability to work collaboratively and contribute positively as a member of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and analyse issues;
- Highly developed skills with the Microsoft Office suite of products (including Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint and Microsoft Project);

- The Payroll Reform team manage and coordinate the implementation of major payroll projects driven by legislation change, public sector initiatives and changes to the CHRIS Human Resource Management System [CHRIS 21 / HR21 (Employee and Manager Self Service)], such as system upgrades and the development of functionality enhancements.
