We are seeking a dedicated WHS Training Specialist to join our team at Anglicare Sydney on a part-time maximum term contract for 6 months working 3 days a week. Based at Macquarie Park, the role is responsible for the design and development of WHS training, matrix, and review for Project Protect.

The purpose of this role is to be responsible for the instructional design and development of Anglicare-wide learning experiences (both face-to-face and e-learning) that are aligned with legislative requirements under the WHS Act. This role aims to enable our staff to thrive and for Anglicare to become a high-performing organisation.

Key Accountabilities:
- Conduct thorough training needs assessments to identify learning gaps and requirements.-
- Review and source existing or new learning solutions from external vendors that enable learning outcomes to be delivered and optimised.- Create comprehensive learning modules, materials, and programs that reflect best practice learning engagement and comply with relevant regulations and standards.- Ensure learning materials are uploaded, tracked, and maintained on the Learning Management System and support the rollout and local implementation of designed modules.- Implement evaluation strategies to measure the effectiveness of learning programs and gather feedback for continuous improvement.- Regularly analyse and report on the engagement and effectiveness of learning modules and develop appropriate modifications if needed.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in e-learning instructional design, preferably within the aged care or healthcare sector.- Exposure to WHS legislation, codes, and guidelines.- A relevant tertiary qualification.- Experience in e-learning design using digital authoring tools. Required experience in Articulate 360 and Adobe Captivate, and the latest AI design technology. Desired experience with the Adobe Creative Cloud product suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.- Understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.- Ability to analyse complex information and develop effective learning solutions.- Innovative approach to designing engaging and impactful learning experiences.- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance.
