**About the Role**

Your responsibilities will include:

- Contribute to the undergraduate and graduate curriculum in health and human geography that complements and builds on the existing strengths of the School.
- Prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials and seminars as appropriate and in line with Faculty of Science minimum thresholds for teaching satisfaction.
- In collaboration with Senior Academic staff, conduct internationally competitive research in human and health geography, resulting in publications in high impact journals.
- Contribute to a range of administrative functions, including those connected with their research activities, teaching responsibilities and the administration and governance of the School and / or Faculty of Science.

**Who We Are Looking For**
Ideally, you will have a disciplinary background in geography or a closely related discipline, with a focus on human health, and comfortable working in a geography school. You will have excellent oral and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal and organizational abilities to manage projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with colleagues from diverse disciplines.

You will also have:

- A PhD in geography or a closely related discipline.
- An emerging track record of publications in one or more aspects of health geography in leading international journals or other high-quality publications, relative to career opportunity.
- Ability to teach broadly into an undergraduate and/or graduate geography program including a capacity to contribute to teaching in health geography.
- Research expertise in health geography that demonstrates a commitment to empirical research in place.
