NSW Health Pathology Department of Chemical Pathology, situated on the campus of St Leonards RNS Hospital. NSWHP operates more than 60 laboratories and over 200 collection centres around NSW, conducting over 60 million tests per year.

**What you'll be doing**
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in a large Clinical Chemistry laboratory, including the following: operation of large Chemistry/Immunoassay analysers, blood gas instruments, Point of Care instruments, small discrete analysers and manual laboratory techniques; review and validation of patient results; Laboratory Information Systems, Patient Systems and Quality Control systems and computer programs such as the Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work in a responsible and efficient manner and to manage competing priorities to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment whilst working autonomously to deliver results within specified timeframes set to meet client expectations
- Customer focused approach displaying well-developed interpersonal skills and good oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with customers and patients as well as clinical laboratory staff
- Commitment to the principles of quality management and continuous quality improvement and to identify, develop and implement quality and service improvement activities
- A demonstrated understanding of clinical laboratory Quality Control concepts, and the ability to monitor, interpret and manage QC results and issues.
