This current opportunity is a for a P&C Business Partner to provide generalist support to CMV’s largest business group. Reporting to the Employee Experience Manager and with an office at our Derrimut dealership, this full time role will work collaboratively with the current team of P&C Business Partners to provide HR, ER and recruitment advice to key stakeholders, as well as actively champion and ensure compliance in day-to-day P&C operations. Whilst this is initially a 12 month contract, there will be a possibility for extension.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with leaders across the business and provide coaching and tactical support on a range of people matters
Provide guidance, support and resolution strategies on all disciplinary and employment relations issues, including assisting in complex investigations
Provide support with P&C projects and strategies, policy development and implementation
Assist in the management of workers compensation claims, and return to work support
Assist with recruitment campaigns, provide support with advertising and the administering of psychological testing
Coach and empower leaders in effective, consistent people management practices
Champion change management initiatives, including supporting managers with engagement of our Human Capital Management system - Dayforce
**To be successful in the role, you will bring the following**:
Minimum 2-3 years in a P&C advisory role, preferably working in a multi-site environment. Retail or hospitality industries also highly regarded
Tertiary qualifications in HR or other business-related discipline are desirable
Outstanding interpersonal skills and a proven ability to build key relationships
Resilience and ability to operate within a dynamic business environment with competing priorities.
Sound written and verbal communication skills to drive best practice on P&C policy and Award Interpretation
Current drivers licence, with access to a vehicle
