We currently have an exciting opportunity for an HR Graduate to join our People & Culture (P&C) team. Reporting into the People Operations Manager, this is an ideal role for a recent graduate to gain exposure to all facets of HR
As a valuable member of the P&C department, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow within Bulla while contributing to various HR functions. The HR Graduate will work closely with the People Operations Manager and broader P&C team to gain exposure to a wide range of HR activities including HR Administration, Business Partnering, Organisational Development, Payroll, and Recruitment.
**_Note, this role encompasses a hybrid working model and will be based at our Head Office in Derrimut. The ability to travel to our regional sites in Colac periodically will be required._**
**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Maintain HR records and databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of HR-related documents.
- Assist with researching and developing Bulla policies and procedures.
- Administer and monitor employee working rights including VEVO checks
- Assist in the implementation of performance appraisal processes.
- Support the tracking of performance goals, feedback, and development plans.
- Support the onboarding process, ensuring a seamless transition for new hires.
- Assist in offboarding processes including exit interviews.
- Support the reward and recognition program.
- Contribute to the planning and organisation of P&C team meetings and events.
- Support Partners with disciplinary and grievance issues.
- Handle routine employee inquiries and provide generalist HR support.
- Assist People Partners in the resolution of employee issues and conflicts
- Collaborate with the OD team to organise training sessions and workshops.
- Support administration of the L&D learning platform.
- Help track and monitor employee development and training progress.
- Support the L&D Business Partner to maintain the L&D calendar of events
- Support administration for the bi-annual Alignment & Engagement Survey
- Support administration activities with the payroll team
- Update and maintain employee personnel records
**You will have**:
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A recent graduate with less than 1 year of HR work experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- An understanding of HR principles and best practices.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Current Australian driver's license and roadworthy vehicle
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to changing priorities.
- Meticulous in handling data, records, and documentation.
- Ability to gather, analyse, and draw insights from HR data.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges proactively.
