**About the role**

Support our Aged Care clients to remain living independently in their own homes through the provision of basic domestic assistance and personal care support across the **Western and Northwestern suburbs.**

In the west, suburbs we will cover include St Albans, Sunshine, Braybrook, Footscray and West Footscray. Vietnamese language skills will be advantageous.

In the north west, suburbs will be around Coburg, Pascoe Vale, Reservoir, Thomastown and Brunswick. Italian language skills will be advantageous.

You will help our clients remain living independently at home between the hours of 8.30am and 5pm on weekdays, assisting various clients throughout the day.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Domestic assistance such as meal preparation and light cleaning
- Personal Care including grooming and showering
- Community access to medical appointments and social activities
- Assistance with tasks and routines outlined by an approved medical professional
- Build rapport and collaborate effectively with clients to establish positive relationships

**Skills & Experience**
- A current First Aid Certificate and CPR Certification
- An Australian Driver’s Licence (minimum P2) and ownership of a registered vehicle with comprehensive car insurance
- Certificate III in Individual Support or other relevant qualification
- Experience and confidence in providing personal care
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships
- Passionate about making a positive impact in our ageing community
