**Eligibility**
- To be eligible for employment with the Department of Health and Aged Care
applicants must be an Australian citizen at the time an offer of employment is made

**Division Responsibilities**
The Reform Implementation Division (RID) supports the Department and Government to
lead reform of Australia’s aged care system through the Government’s response to the
Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety (Royal Commission). The Division
achieves this through:
- The development of evidence-based policy to support more sustainable ageing
policy and an aged care system better tailored to the needs and expectations of
older Australians.
- Oversight of the implementation of the reform agenda in line with Government
commitments.
- Lead ICT strategy and business assurance activities to achieve aged care digital
business outcomes.
- Communication, stakeholder engagement and change management to support
transformational change in the sector.
**Branch Responsibilities**
The ICT Strategy and Business Assurance Branch (ISBA) works in partnership with IT Division
to deliver improved outcomes for senior Australians. ISBA Branch is responsible for:
- Developing an overarching Digital strategy for Aged Care to leverage investment in
technology.
- Working with ICT Division on the development of new proposals and delivery of
existing programs to ensure fidelity against the strategy.
**Section Responsibilities**
The Aged Care ICT Change Office is a section within the Ageing and Aged Care Group
responsible for coordinating with business areas across the Ageing and Aged Care Group
and Health Information Technology Division (ITD) to support the delivery of any changes to
the My Aged Care Systems.
The Change Office provides support and guidance from the beginning of a proposed change
request throughout the lifecycle of the change to the delivery in a system release.***
**Key Responsibilities**
The successful applicant will be required to work collaboratively as part of a team to
manage and produce documentation to assist with release activities, including:
- Developing change management, communication and training materials.
- Developing and maintaining processes, procedures, and system instructions.
- Provide release management support.
- Preparation of communication bulletins for publication.
- Assisting the implementation of changes these activities will involve:
- Undertaking assessment of change requests and front door coordination
activities.
- Support for system releases.
- Creation and update of all user guides, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
and system user guides.
- Preparation of communications bulletins for distribution to providers and
stakeholders.***
