We work with our participants to understand what is important to them and provide support workers who can then help them achieve their goals.

This is an exciting opportunity for dedicated, passionate support workers living in the Geelong region to assist participants living in the community.. Our participants are looking for friendly, knowledgeable staff to assist them day to day.

The role may involve:

- Assistance with community access and recreational activities
- Personal care (showering, toileting, and hygiene assistance)
- Manual handling and the use of wheelchairs & hoists
- Transportation and social engagement
- Light domestic duties such as meal preparation and cleaning
- Behavioural and Mental Health Support

Skills & Experience
- Proven can do, positive and willing attitude
- Demonstrated ability to communicate well with others
- Friendly disposition and engaging manner
- Experience in hoist transfer, ASD, ADHD, personal care
- Current First Aid certificate & CPR
- NDIS Orientation Module - complete online FREE
- NDIS Effective Communication Module - complete online FREE
- Drivers Licence and Comprehensive Car Insurance

Our Selection Criteria
- Must be 18 years or older
- Vaccinated against COVID-19
- Have reliable transport and comprehensive car insurance
- Experience desired
- Night and weekends availability desired

Depending on qualifications, the right applicant can earn between $30 - $40 per hour at casual rate. (Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award). Super is paid at 10.5%

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

- Geelong VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- disability: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)
