Conan civil' is seeking an experienced Directional Driller Team Leader to join our dynamic team in Carrum Downs, Victoria. As a Directional Driller Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating the activities of our directional drilling operations, ensuring efficient and successful project delivery. This full-time position offers the opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our company within the Construction industry.

**What you'll be doing**
- Supervise and lead a team of directional drillers, providing guidance and support to ensure safe and productive operations
- Develop and implement drilling plans, oversee the execution of directional drilling activities, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines and objectives
- Coordinate with other team members, clients, and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
- Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the drilling process, making quick decisions to minimise downtime and optimise efficiency
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting on all drilling activities
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies
- Provide training and mentorship to less experienced team members, contributing to their professional development

**What we're looking for**
- Extensive experience (5+ Years) in directional drilling operations, with a proven track record of leading and managing drilling teams
- Strong technical knowledge and expertise in directional drilling techniques, equipment, and software
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make timely decisions under pressure
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, stakeholders, and team members
- Proficient in reading and interpreting drilling plans, geological surveys, and other technical documents
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in directional drilling or a related field
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring compliance with safety regulations
