**About the role**
- Provide clear and concise advice and recommendations on best practices in pedagogy, policies and practices.
- Design and facilitate learning opportunities for Educators, Educational Leaders, and Early Childhood Teachers.
- Drive innovation and improvement in the Education and Care sector.
- Review and provide recommendations on policies, procedures and implement initiatives and programs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and implement initiatives and programs.
- Develop and deliver training and professional development in education.
- Conduct research and analysis to guide decision making, and improve performance within the organisation.
- Maintain updated knowledge of industry changes and share it with stakeholders.
- Provide onsite support - travel to services, compliance audits and Assessment and Ratings.
- This role will be reporting to the Senior Manager.
- Our services are in Greater Western Sydney and The Hills District.

- Demonstrated ability to successfully support frameworks including the Early Years Learning Framework (Early Years).
- Have knowledge of NESA policy and requirements for provisional and proficient Teachers. (Early Years).
- Prior experience working with children's services to ensure that programming quality areas are met to a high standard.
- Proven ability to collaborate with a large team in high quality service provision.
- Ability to manage complex situations including matters of escalation where appropriate.
- Proven ability in supporting team members to demonstrate best practice in education and care.
- A commitment to professional and personal development as well as a commitment to maintaining current knowledge in education and pedagogy.
- Establish authentic relationships to gain an understanding of challenges faced by relevant stakeholders.
- Excellent listening skills and both written and verbal communication with the ability to tailor according to relevant stakeholders.
**Job Requirements**
- Tertiary (university) qualification in Early childhood or equivalent degree, ACECQA recognised University Degree - For Early Years Learning. **(**Bachelor of Early Childhood Education).**:
- Registered as an accredited teacher with NESA.
- Minimum 3 years experience in a leadership role in Early Childhood **(Director, Service Coordinator or Educational Leader.)**:
- Have a strong understanding of contemporary curriculum approaches, specifically a thorough knowledge of the approved learning frameworks and relevant research.
- Provide first aid in a childcare setting **(HLTAID012)** or be willing to obtain.
- Identify and respond to children and young people at risk **(CHCPRT001) **or willing to obtain.
- Current Driver’s License and own vehicle.
- Valid NSW Working with Children Check **(WWCC).**:
- Police Check, National and/or International.
- Covid 19 **Vaccination **_(double Vaccinated)_ or approved **Medical Exemption.**
