About the Role
The purpose of this role is to deliver Occupational Therapy / Physiotherapy / Social Work services within the Aged Care Assessment Team. In delivery of assessment services, the role operates within the Aged Care Act 1997 and its principles and aligns with the Commonwealth Department of Health guidelines and practice recommendations.
**This includes**:
- Detailed clinical assessment, patient education, therapeutic intervention and/or management and assistance with discharge planning within a multi-disciplinary context.
- Clinical education, supervision of observational students, and assistance with supervision of undergraduate students.
- Participation and contribution to quality improvement and research activities under the guidance of senior staff.
