ABOUT THE ROLE:

- Accept appropriate referrals and establish ongoing contact with families referred to the Family Support service
- Source health education and promotion leaflets in the appropriate languages
- Recognise the rights and privileges of the child in line with the best interest's framework and the need for special safeguards, legal or otherwise, to protect his/her well-being without distinction

TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

- Degree qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Behavioural sciences, or related field relevant to child and family welfare
- Relevant experience and demonstrated knowledge in family casework, especially assessment, review, and direct practice of family interventions.
- Current Victorian Driver's License, Working with Children Check, and Police Check.
