Due to expansive growth in the construction industry and a growing portfolio of work, Silverstrand is seeking a **Project Administrator** to become a key part in shaping the future of our business alongside an experienced team. You will be based in our Brisbane Head Office and employed on a permanent basis.
**About the role**
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Administrator may be responsible for:
- Administration and co-ordination of financial processes in line with project timelines
- Generation of purchase orders using Reckon
- Managing paperwork associated with contracts, programs, projects and services provided
- Data entry of all sub-contractor and supplier dockets and producing required productivity and usage reports
- Effective and accurate communication of financial reporting deadlines and updates to project team
- Working with Project Managers, Architects, Engineering Professionals, owners and others to ensure that goals are met
- Compilation of relevant reports
- Overseeing work by contractors and reporting on variations to work orders
**Essential Skills and Experience**
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role within the construction industry
- Experience with Reckon would be desirable; however, training is available
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage own time effectively
- Strong ability to manage time effectively and comply with all internal and external deadlines to develop and maintain key supplier and client relationships
- Ability to build rapport quickly and gain strong relationships
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Knowledge of accounting, data and administrative management practices
- Proficient computer skills across the Microsoft package
- High level of attention to detail and the ability to problem solve
- Positive attitude and approachable demeanor
