Come and join us at one of our major venues, AAMI Park You will work with a great Kitchen Team in an exciting venue that caters to lots of local and international events.
**About the Opportunity**
As a member of the AAMI Park Kitchen Team, you will work in several different areas of the kitchen ranging from food preparation, fine dining, and canape functions. Successful applicants will work as part of the casual food preparation team (day shifts) and part of the kitchen team on event days (night shifts).
**About You**
We are looking for reliable, highly motivated, and passionate Casual Chefs and Kitchen Hands who can contribute to and enhance food preparation at AAMI Park. You must be flexible in hours, days, and nights (rosters will be provided 4 weeks in advance).
To be successful, you must have:
- 1 year or more experience working in commercial venues/event catering (Chef only)
- Trade Qualifications (Chef only)
- A hands-on approach to the daily operations of working in busy kitchen environments
- The ability to take direction and work in a team
- HACCP food safety knowledge
- The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
