**About the role**
The Cardiovascular Unit is a fast-paced dynamic environment that provides interventional cardiac and vascular services to the Grampians Region for elective and inpatients Monday to Friday, and emergency procedures 24/7. The successful applicants would require a high degree of flexibility, initiative, eye for detail and a willingness to learn. Shifts offered are 10 hours on Wednesday and Friday plus 4 hours on Tuesday and Monday alternating weeks. Opportunity for annual leave relief is also available.

CVU PSA's provide non-medical assistance to the CVU with a wide range of tasks, iincluding;
- Portering of patients
- Prepare patients beds for admission
- Basic patient care
- Cleaning (including patients’ rooms and bathrooms) plus department specific requirements
- Transfer medical equipment, patient files, results and specimens between departments
- Maintenance of stock levels including linen, non-medical supplies & medical supplies
