**About the Role**:
The Education Support Trainee plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of the Classroom Support Programmes, assisting in the delivery of high-quality educational experiences for students.

As a Trainee, you will receive support to develop your skills in the following areas:

- Work closely with both teaching and non-teaching staff to contribute to creating enhanced learning opportunities and fostering an inclusive educational environment for all students.
- Assist in the delivery of effective, tailored curriculum programs for students with special needs, including monitoring and documenting their progress and achievements.
- Help maintain a positive learning environment by supporting student behaviour management, ensuring respect and good order within the classroom.
- Promote the school’s values and adhere to its code of conduct, setting a positive example for students.
- Build strong, supportive relationships with students to create a conducive learning environment and support their individual growth.

**Special Conditions**:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN -EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

**Remuneration**:
Trainee: $15,337 - $39,647 per annum.
