**Ongoing fulltime vacancy.**

The Communications and Engagement Officer is accountable to the Neighbourhood Watch Communications and Engagement Manager, for the development, promotion and delivery of engaging communication, campaigns and initiatives to drive Neighbourhood Watch awareness in line with SAPOL’s corporate goals and government objectives.

The Communications and Engagement Officer is responsible for writing, editing and scheduling social media content, coordinating and writing content for the Neighbourhood Watch website and leveraging digital tools and technologies to enhance community engagement.

The Communications and Engagement Officer is also responsible for the provision of high level communication advice and promotion that contributes to the success of the Neighbourhood Watch program.

**Special Conditions**
- The incumbent may be assigned to other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- Some out of hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required.
- The incumbent is required to participate in SAPOL’s iEngage program.

**Salary**

ASO5 - $85,790 - $95,413 per annum.
