About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and driven salesperson with a flair for robotics and Industry 4.0 technologies to join our team The Robotics Sales Specialist, as a customer facing role, has a wide range of sales and pre-sales responsibilities, undertaking prospecting activities to generate leads, visiting customer sites and building relationships with customers to develop and close sales opportunities.
**Requirements**:
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a territory plan including a list of target accounts within sales territory.
- Complete prospecting (including the use of LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other social channels) to generate sales leads within target accounts, especially FMCG and F&B industry.
- Prepare proposals for customers and tender submissions.
- Build relationships with stakeholders in the buying process including key decision makers.
- Understand Konica Minolta’s robotics offering and be able to communicate its capabilities simply and effectively to internal and external customers.
- Take responsibility for explaining our offering during customer demonstrations, paid trials / proof of concepts and post sales implementation.
- Close sales and diligently work towards hitting sales budget, quarterly and yearly.
- Follow Konica Minolta sales processes including sales orders and other relevant documentation.
Who are we looking for?
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, IT or related discipline).
- Demonstrated experience in business development, sales and delivery operations, and strategic partnership management.
- Good knowledge and awareness of disruptive technologies such as robotics (AMR/AGV/Cobot/etc), IoT solutions and logistic automation solutions.
- Experience and knowledge in manufacturing, especially FMCG, F&B and logistics industry.
- Strong business and financial acumen.
- Strong analytical, planning, project management and execution skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to prepare and deliver presentations for customers, partners, and senior management.
