Ideal Technologies is a Newcastle based commercial data cabling and security contracting company. We are seeking an enthusiastic licensed technician to join us, taking on a role on of one of our current construction projects.

**Responsibilities and Duties**

**The Role**

This role requires independent individuals that have the capacity to lead/execute works and the ability to supervise field staff on a range of projects and service contracts that are based within Newcastle, Central Coast and surrounding areas.

**Experience**
- A strong level of communications experience in the Commercial/Retail sectors in either installation and/or service works will be well regarded.
- We value individuals who demonstrate a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- An in depth knowledge of terminating and testing copper and fibre structured cabling is a must.

**Working Hours**

Will range from standard trade hours to occasional night work and weekend hours, which is generally project-specific.

There may be a travel component from time to time with appropriate allowances when arising.

**Qualifications**
- OH&S General Induction card;
- BICSI/ACRS Cabler Registration with competencies/endorsements or equivalent Certificate 3 in Telecommunications Qualification;
- Valid Driver’s License.

**Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

**Benefits**:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplementary Pay:

- Penalty rates
