Store Procurement Manager

The role of the Store Procurement Manager is to purchase goods, lead staff in the achievement of sales, profit and expense budgets and to ensure company standards are maintained by ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. In addition, the Store Procurement Manager is charged with assisting the Store Manager in maximising team and store performance through effective communication with staff and management, providing reliable information and advice concerning store purchases and company activities.

Tasks Include:

- determining, implementing and monitoring purchasing, storage and distribution strategies, policies and plans
- preparing and implementing plans to maintain required stock levels at minimum cost
- negotiating contracts with suppliers to meet quality, cost and delivery requirements
- monitoring and reviewing storage and inventory systems to meet supply requirements and control stock levels
- operating recording systems to track all movements of supplies and finished goods, and ensuring re-ordering and re-stocking at optimal times
- liaising with other departments and customers concerning requirements for outward goods and associated forwarding transportation
- overseeing the recording of purchase, storage and distribution transactions
- directing staff activities and monitoring their performance
- provision of products and services to meet customer or client requirements

Role will be located at Alexandra Food Works in Victoria. Past experience in a similar role will be highly regarded.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Commission
- Performance bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Alexandra, VIC 3714: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
