**Position Information**:
Whitebridge is a proudly comprehensive 7-12 high school that offers its 980 students the best educational opportunities, in an inclusive, safe and secure learning environment. At Whitebridge HS the HT TAS is responsible for the TAS faculty, including oversight of the school's leading VET initiative.

**Selection Criteria**:
Applicants must satisfy the teacher training and academic qualification requirements for this position. In addition to the general selection criteria,
- Proven ability to use evidence-based practices to lead curriculum programming, implementation and assessment across the diverse range of TAS syllabus to meet the needs of all students for improved outcomes and a successful educational pathway.
- Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively as a highly visible member of the school’s executive team to support the school wide implementation of early commencement VET frameworks and the broader learning needs of a diverse range of students.
- Ability to lead the TAS faculty in strengthening the culture of professional practice to ensure the provision of engaging learning activities across all classrooms and Innovation and expertise in the leadership of extracurricula opportunities that foster and grow the engagement of all students.
- Capacity to establish strong partnerships with students, staff and community that enhance inclusive quality learning environments and promote and maintain a high expectations culture for all members of the school community.

**General Selection Criteria**:
1. Successful teaching experience with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice

2. Knowledge of curriculum, assessment and student welfare with the ability to lead and design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs

3. Educational leadership skills to build the capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams

4. Well developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents

5. Ability to plan and manage resources effectively and equitably to support teaching and learning

6. Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal education policies
