Carina, Australia ALL Support Plus Full time

**ALL Support Plus** is currently recruiting casual Disability Support Workers for our client located in Carina Qld.

Our client is a 13-year-old boy who requires support from 7 am - 9 am to get ready and drive to school, the afternoon shift starts at 2.30 pm - 5.30pm for school pick up, take home and assistance with after-school activities.

Assistance is also required to access the community and assist in and around the home with cooking and light cleaning requirements.

We are looking for support workers to start immediately, who have experience working with all types of disability, including mental health & autism.

**Tasks may include, but are not limited to**:

- Personal care prompting,
- Attending client appointments,
- Assisting in community participation,
- Promoting a safe and positive environment when accessing the community,
- Assisting our clients to achieve both their NDIS and personal goals.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Current open QLD driver licence.
- Smartphone with internet access.
- Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
- Current First Aid & CPR certificates.
- NDIS worker orientation certificate.
- Blue card with yellow card exemption (NDIS worker screening/WWCC)
- Minimum of Cert III in disability or individual support, or
- A minimum of 12 months relevant industry experience working with clients with disability and mental health.
- A person-centred approach.
- Excellent communication skills.

**Salary**: $36.00 - $80.00 per hour
