**The Service**

Located in Karabar, New South Wales near the ACT border, **KU Queanbeyan South Early Learning Centre**provides long day care services for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old, Monday to Friday. The service also provides a full preschool program, assisting children and families with the transition to school. KU Queanbeyan South has staff parking onsite, and is a service whose passionate team care for children with an emphasis on an inclusive environment where children feel like they belong and are encouraged to play, discover and learn.

This is a **permanent, part time diploma**opportunity within the team working 4 hours on a **Wednesday.**Available within a high performing, welcoming and a close-knit team, we are very keen to hear from you. There is the opportunity to accept additional casual hours at the service if and when required.

**Of course, you will need**:

- Australian working rights
- A current Working with Children Check
- An ACECQA recognised Diploma
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates along with current separate approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management certificates
- Completed Child Protection Training as well as demonstrated understanding of current child safe practices
- Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
- Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
