The Service

Located in Karabar, New South Wales near the ACT border,KU Queanbeyan South Early Learning Centreprovides long day care services for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old, Monday to Friday.The servicealso provides a full preschool program, assisting children and families with the transition to school. KU Queanbeyan South has staff parking onsite, and is a service whose passionate team care for children with an emphasis on an inclusive environment where children feel like they belong and are encouraged to play, discover and learn.

This is a permanent, part time diploma opportunity within the team working 4 hours on a Wednesday. Available within a high performing, welcoming and a close-knit team, we are very keen to hear from you. There is the opportunity to accept additional casual hours at the service if and when required.

Of course, you will need:

- A current Working with Children Check
- An ACECQA recognised Diploma
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates along with current separate approved Asthma andAnaphylaxis Management certificates
- Completed Child Protection Training as well as demonstrated understanding of current child safe practices
- Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
- Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
