As an automotive lover, you go beyond simply loving to drive - you are curious about how things work and passionate to learn the ropes. You view the automotive trade as both a science and a craft. As a 1st or 2nd year apprentice, you spend each day learning different skill sets that will help expand your knowledge and assist in growing your career.

**Duties**:

- Assist with the diagnosis and fault finding in the mechanical assessment of machinery for repair, maintenance and service
- Assist the Workshop Leading Hand and Diesel Mechanics as directed
- Assist service personnel to ensure machinery is serviced or repaired in a timely manner
- Ensure workshop is kept neat and tidy
- Ensure a safe working environment and report any safety incidents or concerns to the Safety Manager
- Ensure compliance with the relevant OH&S requirements
- Contribute to the participative arrangements and communication strategies for managing OH&S risks in the workplace
- Conformance to quality systems and procedures

- Committed to attending TAFE
- Manual Driver’s license or close to obtaining

Certificate II Automotive will be highly regarded.
