Position Title: Finance Officer - Accounts Receivable
Classification: HS1
Salary per fortnight (exc. super): $2,247.80
Hours per fortnight: 80 with an ADO every 4 weeks
Employment Status: Ongoing Full Time

**Role Description**

The Finance Officer - Accounts Receivable is responsible for the cashier function of Bendigo Health. They will collect payments, perform EFTPOS transactions and enter receipts across all debtor systems. They have responsibility for counting and balancing all cash drawers at the end of each day and processing funds received for banking.

This position involves direct contact with all levels of staff at Bendigo Health, the general public and customers, requiring excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task and solve problems as they arise. The approach at all times needs to promote a positive image of Bendigo Health to the general public.

**The Team**

The Finance and Resources Division is responsible for financial functions, including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, performance monitoring and analysis, together with our procurement, materials management and facilities management functions. The division also includes Health Information Services with key roles in medical record management, clinical documentation, freedom of information, and external data reporting requirements. These are essential non-clinical services providing high-quality support, advice, monitoring and compliance functions. The team are focussed on delivering the strategic vision within their responsibilities and on assisting the organisation operationally.
