As we are a small business, you will be exposed to many more parts of the business than you would at a larger business (this is a great opportunity for the right person). You must be comfortable learning new skills. **The Role** Customer focused: Our customers are changing the way nails are done, and it is your job to exceed their expectations of what a cosmetics experience should be. You will be interested in building the next revolution in cosmetics for 7 billion people. We expect you to go above and beyond for our customers. As a Chief of Staff you will keep things running smoothly while launching special projects within the organization. Your success depends on theirs. **Responsibilities**: - Keep things organized - Sustain and iterate on operational guidelines to deliver best in class services to Lily and Fox employees and guests - Manage day-to-day operations of Workplace scopes by establishing and implementing standard procedures for team operations, service delivery and reporting. Maximize efficiency through the effective utilization of assets and site resources - Maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; maintaining a safe and secure work environment; developing personal growth opportunities. - Daily management of objectives, priorities, trade offs, risks and performance management in line with Lily and Fox success metrics - Identify technology and process gaps, conduct sophisticated and creative gap analysis, and translate those results to easily digestible messages. - Meeting notes / scribe / typist / data entry / followup and triage of information - Set up new workstations (monitors, keyboard, mouse, office supplies), and set up logins for new hires and contractors prior to start date - Perform or coordinate wall hung installations including shelves, signage, conference room themed props, art and TVs - Responsible for reporting and alignment within department budget - Lead and manage multiple complex and strategic initiatives **Skills and Qualifications**: - Bachelor's degree (or commensurate experience) - 5-7 years experience in Workplace Operations, Facilities Services, or closely related function - 3-5 years experience as a people manager. Proven track of successfully supervising, developing and training staff - Professional certifications desirable - Experience delivering best in class customer service - Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and workflow to ensure efficiency and exceptional outcomes - Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline - driven environment where priorities change frequently - Typing speed must be >= 80 words per minute within 2 months of hiring - Excellent independent decision-making capabilities and a solutions oriented attitude - Excellent interpersonal skills - Proficient at using the Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs - Demonstrated ability to manage overall business initiative or several components of a l
