In your role as an Interview Producer you will be responsible for booking guests to appear within Sky News bulletins and programmes, with a focus on politics. You are responsible for writing and editing content associated with on-air guest segments while liaising with Presenters, Programme Producers and senior staff to execute coverage.

**What’s the role?**
- Arrange interviews with guests to appear within Sky News bulletins and news programmes.
- Coordinate interview logistics including airtime, studio location, studio bookings and cameras.
- Ensure interviewees are equipped with the necessary technical equipment for broadcast including familiarising them with Zoom/Skype or other video conferencing programs.
- Optimise the visual component of the interview through communication with the interviewee prior to the broadcast.
- Research interview topics and prepare questions/intros for on-air Presenters.
- Prepare production elements of interviews, including footage and on-air graphics.
- React to breaking news and use your contact list to arrange guests that are suitable for developing stories.
- Cut overlay and produce straps for guest segments.
- Prepare future interviews and on-air material.
- Be prepared to assist Producers with sourcing and editing news coverage.
- Complete and comply with all News Corp and ANC policies, including ANC’s Social Media Policy, News Corp Global Standards etc.

**Who you are**
- Experience in a live news and/or broadcast setting, coupled with relevant tertiary qualifications.
- Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional organisational skills.
- Sound editorial judgement.
- The ability to work under pressure in a LIVE and fast-paced news environment.
- Initiative to contact and source guests without instruction and supervision.
- Experience with Quantel & ENPS desirable.
